Robert Huth (born August 18, 1984 in Berlin, Germany) is a football (soccer) player. He was snapped up by Chelsea from the youth system of German club Union Berlin.

Huth is a strong defender at 6.2 feet, and an expert in dead-ball situations. At a young age, he is already a member of the German national team.Together with Per Mertesacker, they are the current central defenders for Germany, despite the fact that both of them are only 21 years old.

He made his debut for the Blues as a 17 year old in the last game of the 2001/02 season, coming on as a sub at the half-time in a 3-1 defeat at the hands of Aston Villa.
