Cassi Davis

Cassi Davis (born Cassandra Davis in Holly Springs, Mississippi) is an American actress and singer who has been working with Tyler Perry and has starred in Madea Goes to Jail, Madea's Family Reunion (the film adaptation), Daddy's Little Girls and the new series Tyler Perry's House of Payne. In the 80's she was featured in the Spike Lee hit School Daze as the loud student in the window. She is married to LaVan Davis on Tyler Perry's House of Payne but not in real life. On House of Payne Davis plays the humble Christian housewife Ella.

In 2004, Davis was awarded Best Supporting Actress by the NAACP Theatre Award Committee (Los Angeles Chapter).
