Career history

Shaun McDonald (born June 30, 1981 in Phoenix, Arizona) is an American football wide receiver for the Detroit Lions in the NFL. He was originally selected in the fourth round of the 2003 NFL Draft by the St. Louis Rams. He attended Shadow Mountain High School, and later Arizona State University playing for both Bruce Snyder and Dirk Koetter.

He is known for catching the game-winning pass from Marc Bulger to beat their division rivals, the Seattle Seahawks, on October 10, 2004.

He has two cousins in professional sports, Sacramento Kings point guard Mike Bibby and Real Salt Lake forward Robbie Findley.

2007 Season

Thought too be the 4th wide receiver on the depth chart coming into the season, Shaun led the Lions in catches with 79, yards with 943, and touchdowns with 6 in 2007.
