  • a combination of a barcode or 2D-code label with an RFID tag to present two different coding technologies in one entity applicable as a label, see Smart Label or Radio Frequency Identification
  • a special configuration of the the Electronic Product Code (R) (EPC) and the EAN/UCC code of GS1 (R) in conjunction of two coding technologies in one entity applicable as a label, that is conformal to ISO/IEC 18000-6C and ISO/IEC 15418, ISO/IEC 15420, ISO/IEC 24723 and ISO/IEC 24724
