Kyoji Kasshu is a fictional character in the anime series Mobile Fighter G Gundam. His Japanese seiyuu is Hideyuki Hori and his American voice actor is Matt Embry.

Kyoji Kasshu is the older brother to the protagonist Domon Kasshu. Frequently throughout the first part of the series Domon flashes a photograph to Gundam fighters he meets and asks, "Have you seen this man?" The man in question is Kyoji.

Kyoji serves as the main antagonist for most of the series. When Domon returns from his training he finds his family in total disarray; his mother is dead, his father cryogenically frozen and his brother gone.

Then he finds out what happened; his father Dr. Kasshu and Kyoji were developing a Gundam called the Ultimate Gundam that would help in regenerating the Earth and give it life. But Kyoji decided to use such a powerful Gundam for his own devices and started morphing it into a weapon behind his father's back. The Neo Japan government learned of this and went to arrest them. In the ensuing chaos Kyoji and Domon's mother was shot and Kyoji left with his new weapon to go to Earth and left his father to take full responsibility.

Domon seeks out his brother because he wants to know why he did this. But when they meet up again Kyoji is the core unit of the Devil Gundam...what was once the Ultimate Gundam. No matter how many times Domon tries to talk and reason with him, Kyoji tries to kill him anyway. Through the Devil Gundam's influence many people are infected with its DG Cells, including Domon's close friends. But due to the interference of Schwarz Bruder of Neo Germany, Domon is able to build himself up enough to take on his brother again and believes to have killed him.

In fact, Kyoji is believed dead for most of the second half of the series. Even when Wong recovers the Devil Gundam and sees Kyoji's seemingly lifeless body in its core he refers to it as a corpse and that Wong and Master Asia were searching for a new life core unit as Kyoji's weakened body could not act as the Devil Gundam's life core unit for much longer. But its also during this time that more vital information is revealed. Schwartz Bruder's mask comes off to reveal Kyoji's own face! But Schwarz explains that he's a creation of DG Cells by Kyoji and then the real truth of what happened just the year before is revealed.

Dr. Kasshu developed the Ultimate Gundam to save the Earth and he and Kyoji were trying to keep the military from finding out. But Dr. Mikamura was jealous of Dr. Kasshu's achievements and told Major Ulube Ishikawa about the Ultimate Gundam. Neo-Japan soldiers led by Ulube showed up and confronted the Kasshu family, and were prepared to kill the Kasshu family if they resisted. Dr. Kasshu orders Kyoji to take the Ultimate Gundam to Earth to keep it out of the hands of the military and Kyoji complies. Kyoji and Domon's mother dies when she shielded Kyoji from the gunfire from one of Ulube's soliders. But the force of the landing on Earth causes the program inside the Ultimate Gundam to be corrupted, believing that killing all humans is the only way to save the Earth. So it absorbs Kyoji as its core, infecting him with DG Cells and using him to do its bidding. However, it's power was never fully harnessed with Kyoji as its core because only a core that can create life (a woman) is more compatible with the Devil Gundam.

As all these revelations come to a head, Schwarz joins Kyoji in the cockpit of the Devil Gundam and orders Domon to kill them. Having finally reconciled with his brother, Domon tearfully does his Sekiha Tenkyoken and kills Kyoji and Schwarz, whom merge into one entity before their demise.
