"Country Grammar (Hot Shit)" is the debut single by the rapper Nelly, and it was released in 2000, taken from Nelly's 2000 album Country Grammar. It peaked at #7 in both the US and UK. Country Grammar introduced a unique and also unheard of Midwestern twang influenced by Nelly's Missouri roots. The song's chorus comes from a song popularly used with children's clapping games.
