The Boteti River is a river in Botswana.the river used to get its water from the main okavango delta through tlhamalakane river in maun.before it was hit by the mid 90,s drought it used to be a perrenial river flowing all year round.it streches from ngamiland to the main boteti district were it used to fill mopipi dam.mopipi dam was very crucial and important to the diamond mines which are numerical in the area.since the river dried it has left many #REDIRECT boteti district residents dissappointed since they no longer enjoy fishing etc.
