Play-Asia is an on-line retailer that was established in 2002. It is a leading on-line retailer that provides video games, DVDs, music, CDs, gadgets and toys. Based in Hong Kong. The retailer focuses on the Hong Kong & Asia-Pacific region, but also offers selected products for international shipping to almost any country worldwide, with various shipping options and prices. Play-Asia sells Games and Merchandise for the following platforms: Xbox360, Nintendo Wii, Playstation 3, Playstation 2, Nintendo DS, Sony PSP, Gamecube and PC & Mac. They also sell limited products for the following lucrative platforms: Gameboy, GP2X, Xbox, Dreamcast, Nintendo 64, Playstation and Sega Saturn, which is what gives the company a competitive advantage on a global scale, as the majority of large retailers have chosen to discontinue these products, in favour of higher profit margins. They offer some bargain items and also offer discounted items that are pre-owned.
