The Fore River Railroad in eastern Massachusetts, running from Quincy Point to the Greenbush Line of the MBTA Commuter Rail. The Massachusetts Water Resources Authority uses the railroad to transport solid sewage waste to a private processing plant.[1] It was constructed in 1902 to serve the naval shipyard at Quincy Point. The railroad is operated under contract with the Fore River Transportation Corporation.[1]
