link title These mountains were converted inside to be a sanctuary for Darth Xayaj for his training and presevation of Sith intelligence, insidiously unbeknownst to the denizens of Coruscant. Darth Xayaj trained his then-apprentice, Darth Plagueis, in the art of the force, imparting crucial knowledge of the art of manipulating the behaviour of midi-chlorians - knowledge that he was later to further develop and wield in maintaining an experimental, albeit unnatural command of the Force - encompassing the ability to create and sustain life well beyond its natural span.

After 20 years of training, Darth Plagueis, by now adept in the Niman / Jar'Kai (Form X) Lightsabre style, in the tradition of all Sith Lords before him executed his master. Left with a wealth of Sith Holocrons, he soon discovered information regarding an ancient Sith legend that ran parellel to that of the Jedi's Chosen One Prophecy. This led him ultimately to attempt the creation of life through sheer will. However, he was unable to select the host as the midi-chlorians would only gather and condense into 'Force Wells', areas of extreme midi-chlorian concentration in space-time, of which Tatooine was a prime example. This led to the conception of Anakin Skywalker, who was to fulfill the ancient Sith Prophecy and bring the Force into Shadow until redeemed by his son, Luke Skywalker.
