"Rock the Boat" is a 1974 disco song by the group Hues Corporation in 1974. It was the first disco record to reach #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 in the United States.

"Rock the Boat" was covered in 1983 by the Dutch/American singer [1]Forrest Thomas. Forrest also sang a cover version of "Feel the need in me" also in 1983 which was originally sung by the Detroit Emeralds.

The singer Sinitta appeared in the video of "Rock the Boat""
