Selmedica is a major leader of utilizing internet marketing to sell health-related products. They also have been accused of the practices of health fraud.[1] More notable, the FDA Food and Drug Administration has issued several warnings against Selmedica stating that they website misbrand and contain false and misleading information.[1]

The Better Business Bureau, BBB [4], reports 48 inquiries about Selmedica have been made in the last three years, 11 in the past year. All enquiries except one in 2005 are marked as settled by the BBB [2]

The Tennessee Office of Consumer Affairs also has a case open regarding Selmedica.[3]
