Luigi Fioravanti is an American mixed martial artist who fights out of Orlando, Florida with American Top Team[1]. He is currently under contract with the UFC, and has a professional record of 12-3-0.[2]
Early Career
Fioravanti joined the Marines directly after high school, and was part of Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2003. Fioravanti started training in various martial arts such as jiu-jitsu and kickboxing while stationed in California and Iraq with the Marines.[3]After spending five months in Iraq, Fioravanti continued training and began his professional career in early 2005. He has fought such fighter as Chris Leben, Jon Fitch, Luke Cummo, and Dave Menne.
