Syd Bycroft (February 19, 1912 - October 4, 2004) was a Doncaster Rovers footballer who played from 1936 until 1952.

In total, Syd Bycroft turned out for 'The Rovers' 501 times in both league and other appearances and would have been many more was his career not interrupted by the Second World War, during which time he served as a Police Office for the Doncaster Borough Police, resigning in October 1946 to resume his footballing career full time.
