James Kilbane was the runner up in Ireland's talent TV show "You're a Star" in 2004. He was born in London but moved to Achill in Mayo as a child where he continues to live. Since his success in You're a Star James has gone on to record and release a number of well received albums 'King of the Road', 'Close to You. Hymns of Praise' 'Divine Love' and 'Life's Miracle' who have commanded considerable airplay and success amongst an MOR audience on Independent Local Radio in Ireland rather than on National Pop Music stations.He is a relation to Kevin Kilbane,the Wigan Athletic defender.
