List of Father of the Pride episodes
The following is a list of episodes of the animated TV series Father of the Pride which was aired on the NBC network between 31 August 2004 and 28 December 2004. Three of the fourteen episodes have not been aired. The Original Pilot was originally supposed to air in the autumn of 2004 but was lost. The episode titled 'What's Black White and Depressed All Over' was debuted at 9/8c on 31 August 2004 instead. The episodes titled 'Stage Fright' (which is just the Original Pilot with Larry's voice-over) and 'The Siegfried and Roy Movie Fantasy Experience' were never shown on US televion, but premiered on Sky One in the UK.
What's Black White and Depressed all Over?

It is mating season in the compound, Larry just wants to be alone with his wife during this time. That is until his Foo-Lin the panda comes along and spoils everything. Foo-Lin is depressed because her sister is pregnant and she cannot find a man herself.
Siegfried and Roy intend to start a Panda breeding program, but hysterical Foo-Lin isn't confident that she will ever find a man. As luck may have it Siegfried and Roy bring in Nelson, but things start to go wrong when Nelson falls in love with Kate. Larry and Kate then try to get Nelson and Foo-lin to hook up but backfires.

Larry's Debut and Sweet Daryll Hannah Too

Larry is looking forward to his debut as the Lead Lion of the Siegfried and Roy magic show. But little does he know that Siegfried and Roy are planning to debut him on National Television on the Today show (hosted by Matt Lauer) after Siegfried and Roy announce it live. Siegfried and Roy plan to debut a new trick which Larry will perform. Larry becomes extremely nervous to the point that he doesn't talk for a full day. Sarmoti willingly gives Larry a little bit of advice. Until practice Larry is confident he will pull it off until he finds that he cannot pull the lever to perform the trick. But everything is not what it seems.

Catnip and Trust

Larry and Kate become worried when Sierra starts acting weird. Kate later finds catnip in her room. Larry and Kate decide to seek advice on the matter from Chutney the elephant. After watching some rather disturbing videos about what catnip can do, Larry and Kate decide to confront Sierra. Sierra denies that the catnip is hers and she runs away from home.
Hunter informs Larry and Kate that it is possible that she could have gone to the rave, so they go and check to see if she has. Larry and Kate don't find her and go back home. They become worried. Sierra arrives home the next morning and tells Larry and Kate that she has a boyfriend.
Larry and Kate took some nip sausages from the rave. They eat them but, of course, Larry and Kate don't know this and they start acting weird. Sierra then complains that Larry and Kate have the cheek to be giving her trouble.
Larry and Kate also jeopardize Sierra's chances of getting into the gifted and talented programme when the teacher from the program turns up while Larry and Kate are 'high'.
Later, Larry and Kate find out that the catnip does not belong to Sierra but to Sarmoti.
Donkey

The animals in the compound all become excited by the news of the big star Donkey from Shrek coming to visit, to shoot a commercial for a Japanese SUV. Hunter becomes worried as career day approaches, where he has to take his dad with him. He is scared in case his dad makes him more unpopular than he already is.
Larry's attempt at wowing the kids at hunters school fails, so he says that he knows Donkey. This impresses the class, but of course Larry doesn't really know Donkey and he is asked to bring him to Hunter's school.
Hunter's popularity gains at school while Larry tries to come up with a plan to try and get Donkey to go to Hunter's school.
Meanwhile Siegfried and Roy start to worry when their favourite 'Appleby's' casino has been replaced by 'Grandma Wilson's Bed and Breakfast'.

Larry and Kate take Sierra to the Mirage Hotel for a meal with Siegfried and Roy. There she meets Emerson the lobster, a political rights activist. Sierra befriends the lobster, much to Larry's dismay. Larry feels he is no longer connecting with Sierra, so he frees the lobster from his bondage. The lobster starts to cause havoc and Larry begins having his regrets, so he throws the lobster into the aquarium of The Mirage. No long after he is thrown in there, he becomes entree for Barbra Streisand's visit to the hotel. Larry and Sierra have to find a way of freeing him again.

Kate feels that she is becoming bored with marriage, and feels that Larry is no longer as romantic as he used to be when they were in their younger days. Kate then puts the idea into Larry's head that he should be more spontaneous. So in a bid to be more spontaneous Larry decides to steal the tigers' TV when they go over to the tigers' party.
As things start to hot up in their relationship so too does the anger of the animals in the compound when they are trying to look for the TV.
One Man's Meat is Another Man's Girlfriend

Larry is put on a diet by Siegfried and Roy because they feel that he is starting to become overweight. This causes problems at home because he is put on a strict diet of greens and he is not allowed to eat meat. So he wants to eat everything that he sees.
This includes Snacks new girlfriend Candy who he loves very much. After Candy tells Larry that she is leaving Snack and goes away. Larry is given the awkward job of telling Snack that she has left him. So instead of telling Snack she dumped him, Larry says that he eat him, to save him from being heartbroken.

Larry gets fed up with not being able to spend time with his family. Larry becomes very tired and has a fall in practice so Siegfried and Roy panic and take him to the vet to get him checked out. The vets says that he has nothing much wrong with him but suggest that he rests for a few days and is also given pain pills that look like meatballs.
Sarmoti starts annoying Larry by intruding in his space. Eventually Sarmoti takes some of the meatballs which Larry doesn't tell Sarmoti are his pain pills. So Sarmoti starts to act nice as a result of the side effects of the pain pills.
The Thanksgiving Episode

Kate stands in the election for head of the PTA but when she is giving her speech offends turkeys by saying that they all look alike. So to win over the Turkeys Larry suggests that they have them over for anti Thanksgiving that turkeys have. The only problem is though that Sarmoti has old bigoted views like a typical old man. Kate ends up throwing Sarmoti out after having an argument about his being bigoted.

Sarmoti moves in with Larry and Kate, and not before long starts getting under their feet. Before long Kate gets so fed up with him that she wrecks Sarmoti's much prized zebra rug which she spills liquid all over and then rips it to pieces. They try and find a replacement promptly before Sarmoti finds out.

Larry forgets his anniversary (again) which happens to coincide with Jimi Hendrix's birthday of which Larry is a huge fan of. Kate becomes angry and goes off to retreat for the weekend with Siegfried and Roy to little Bavaria. Larry returns home to see that Kate has left and that Sarmoti is at home. Larry tries to leave the compound but doesn't know how so Sarmoti shows him an escape but Sarmoti goes with him. In the Nevada dessert Larry and Sarmoti bump into the guide, Tommy the Coyote who is willing to lead them to Little Bavaria only to get them lost.

Stage Fright

Larry gets stage fright, so Siegfried and Roy take him to see the 'Phsyciatrist' Kelsey Grammar who is Siegfried and Roy think is a phsyciatrist. At Kelsey Grammars house Larry meets a real psychiatrist, a cat called mittens. So Larry tells Mittens of all of his troubles at home. This includes clips of the Original Pilot that was not aired on TV.
Larry also tells mittens about his Father in Law Sarmoti, who he took his job off of.

Kate joins a woman's empowerment group, headed by Lily, after Larry tells her she should find her own interests. Larry then begins to worry that he might be losing Kate because of his selfishness. Elsewhere Siegfried and Roy feel threatened by the arrival of two new magicians named Dante and Phil on the Vegas Strip. So in a bid to be fresh they decide to make a movie about themselves.

Things go wrong when Sarmoti mucks up in a performance when he is showing off. Sarmoti is then sacked as the lead lion of the Siegfried and Roy magic show. Larry goes and tries and get back Sarmoti's job but then after accidentally saving Roy's life the job is given to him. So Larry and Kate have to find a way of telling him.
This episode is only included on the DVD release.
