Wymondley Park is a residential area of Hitchin in Hertfordshire. It was built as a 1970s private development and the housing stock is mixed: flats, terraces, semi detached and detached houses can be found. The main road is Halsey Drive and most of the other roads on the estate are connected to it. Most of the roads are named after local businesses, past and present e.g. Halseys is a long established delicatessen, Spurrs Close is named after a former Hitchin department store and Bowmans Avenue is named after the Bowmans flour mill. William Ransom JMI School was built to cater for local children anfd uis very wekll regarded locally. For local government purposes, the estate forms part of Hitchin Highbury ward.
