About me

I asked an author once, John Marsden I think it was, "What do you say to all aspiring authors out there?" He replied to Me, "You are an author, not an aspiring author, you keep writing and you will get published, always keep writing, and remember you are an author." I took those words to heart, so I Am going to describe myself As an author, I Am a reader (which I love to do), I Am a listener. I would say that I Am a good friend, I mean I have a lot of them, I Am a good teacher, and I want to learn. If anyone has any problems with anything that I have done or written or anything, just talk to Me on my talk page. I seem to Be absorbing a lot of information In a short amount of time, this is great, because it implies that I Am learning. I have been accused of being a sattelite account for someone called tom.mevlie, which after further research, doesn't seem to Be that much of a big deal, not because sockpuppetry isn't a big issue, it is, but because the accusations are unfounded, and I can breathe a little better now.

Psudonyms

Throughout my somewhat short life I have found an occaision to make use of several Psudonyms not because I feel guilty about using my own name, but because it is incredibly liberating to take on another persona, another reputation. These are some of my favourites:

    1. Christopher Levett. I used that one to get out of an underage drinking charge when I was fifteen.
    2. Charles Lowe. The school newspaper never knew that there was no one currently in attendance of the school who went by that name.
    3. James Williamson. Various letters to editors I have sent have been under this particular alias.
    4. John Patterson. I used this one to get a story published in The New Yorker, they of course turned me down.

Those are the ones that have been thrown aside, I don't use them anymore. Needless to say, the ones I do use I cannot show on Wikipedia, just in case.

Reading

As I mentioned bove, reading is a major passion of mine, at the moment I am reading The Brothers Karamazov by Fyodor Dostoyevsky. A great moment in my life was when I asked my English teacher for Year 11 whether or not she had read Crime and Punishment. She said she hadn't because she didn't like Tolstoy because she had failed in reading War and Peace. I pretty much slapped her in the neck and yelled out; "Idiot, Dostoyevsky not Tolstoy wrote Crime and Punishment, who hired you?" Needless to say, I scored incredibly high in that particular class, probably because she was embarassed about getting punched in the mind by a sixteen year old. One massive down fall of mine is perhaps my spelling though. I will usually try and copy any edit into word so it can correct my spelling, but if anything slips through the net, I implore you to tell me about it. I can only learn if people teach.

Will.

Help Me

This is the part of my user page that I will generally ask for help in.

{{helpme}}

two things, how do I create a sub pag for my user page, and what the hell does "subst" mean?

Tool Box

I have created a sub page for all of my tools, in hope that it clears the place up a bit.
