Royal Harbor, known by stage name Knoc-turn'al, is a songwriter and rapper. He is known to write for Dr. Dre.
Albums
He recorded a supposed debut album which was entitled the same as, Knoc's Landin which remains unreleased. He soon released the EP, L.A. Confidential Presents: Knoc-turn'al. His official debut album, The Way I Am, with only the title track being released. His second album was Return of the Hustler which was released in January of 2006.[1] His third is to be titled The Book Of Knoc. It will be released on Equity Records. Knoc's best exposure has come in the form of feature spots, most notably on Dr. Dre's classic , 2001, on the tracks "Some L.A. Niggaz" and "Bang Bang", and also on the single "Bad Intentions" from The Wash soundtrack, also with Dr. Dre.
Singles
Knoc has released three singles, "The Knoc" featuring Missy Elliott and Dr. Dre (who also produced it), and his second was "Muzik" featuring Samuel Christian and produced by Kanye West. The third single was "The Way I Am" featuring Snoop Dogg and produced by Scott Storch. The forthcoming single off his next album will be entitled "Ya Boy Is Back" and is produced by Scott Storch.
Label
Besides having close ties with Dr. Dre, he signed with Elektra Records which offered him his own label: L.A. Confidential. He has released some albums but has never reached the mainstream. His single "The Way I Am" has seen moderate airplay. He is now signed with Equity Records although his latest album Return of the Hustler was released on Sonic Wave International.[1]
