Final Destination 4 is the upcoming installment to the Final Destination horror film franchise. The film will be written and directed by Final Destination 2's Eric Bress and David R. Ellis, respectively, and will be shot in HD 3-D.[1] It currently has a tentative release date of early 2009.

Plot details

The film, according to bloody-disgusting.com, will be a stand-alone movie and will feature a set of new characters. The story will revolve around Nick, a young teenager who has a vision of an accident that occurs at a race track. He warns his friends about his vision of the accident, and all of Nick's friends are saved from the falling objects from the accident. Now death will strike again and kill the people remaining untouched.[1]

Production

Shooting of the film started on early March in New Orleans. Craig Perry, the producer of the film, has said that the high-def 3-D technology they are using is the same technology James Cameron is using for Avatar.[1]
