The official name for the secondary school is St Paul's Secondary School, Heytesbury Street. The present building replaced an older buiding and was opened in the late 1960s: it was extended in the 1980s. The school is situated on most of a city block and includes a Christian Brothers monastery which also houses a number of retired Brothers who have served in various other schools.
