Martini Ranch
Martini Ranch was a band featuring Andrew Todd (Vocals/Guitar) and actor Bill Paxton (vocals) and Robert O'Hearn (keyboards; brother of Frank Zappa bass player Patrick O'Hearn). They released one album, Holy Cow, in 1988. The song "How Can the Labouring Man Find Time for Self-Culture?" featured Mark Mothersbaugh of Devo and the video featured cameos from Anthony Michael Hall (whom Bill Paxton starred with in the 1985 film "Weird Science") and Judge Reinhold. James Cameron directed the video, which was played on the MTV program "Smash or Trash". It was trashed and received little airplay.
Cindy Wilson of The B-52's also sings background on some of these songs. Additionally, Reinhold (of Beverly Hills Cop fame) is credited as the Whistler on the song "Reach".
