Nicholas Caradoc Hoult[1] (born December 7, 1989[2][3][4]) is an English film and television actor. He is known for playing Marcus in the film About a Boy and more recently, Tony in the E4 drama Skins, although it was announced on March 292008 that all of the current characters, including his, will be written out of the show in the current season's completion.
Hoult, the third of four children,[5] was born in Wokingham, Berkshire, the son of Glenis, a piano teacher, and Roger Hoult, a pilot for British Airways.[6] His siblings are James, Rosie and Clarista. His great aunt was Dame Anna Neagle.[6] He attended The Henley College in Henley-on-thames,Oxfordshire, but left in Year 12 to focus on his acting career[7]
