Socket 563 is a µPGA Socket used exclusively for Low-Power (16W and 25W TDP) Mobile Athlon XP-M processors (Models 8 & 10).

This Socket can only be found on Laptops/Notebooks and requires a Low-power mobile part in a special 563-pin µPGA package which is different from the 453-pin OPGA package used for normal DTR (72W TDP), Mainstream (45W TDP) and Low-Power (35W TDP) Athlon XP-M processors.
