Chandra Prakash Dwivedi is an Indian film director and script writer who has created a number of films such as Pinjar (film) in 2003 about Hindu-Muslim tension in India before the partition of India in 1947.

He directed the Chanakya television series and also played the title role in it.

In 1996 he got the best director award for Mrityunjay (TV series) based on Karna (Mahabharat).
