Gary White (b. June 16, 1985, in Skegness, England) is the current European u-23 Triple Jump champion, and a minor celebrity in some parts of Scandinavia where his catch-phrases "serious" and "struggling" are popular.

He grew up in the town of Rugby, in the English midlands where he took up ballet at the age of six but gave up after growing out of too many pairs of ballet shoes; he joined Rugby Athletics Club soon after where he started competing in the shot-put. It was during his time in Bilton High School, Rugby that he discovered his talent for jumping after an accident on school sports day. Competing for 'Dragon' house in the 100m, Gary swerved to avoid a stray dog and ran straight towards the long-jump pit, which was being raked by an official at the time. Gary jumped to avoid the official; the jump was subsequently measured as a school record. Many believe that Gary will go on to break 12 meters in the future.

Controversy

It was during his time in College that Gary first became interested in Scientology. To this day he is an outspoken advocate of Scientology and a high profile speaker at many events.

Before his interest in Scientology, Gary was a self-confessed womanizer and is rumored to have bedded as many as 800 women. It was during this time that Gary spent a brief period as a soft-core pornography model, appearing in such publications as 'Razzle' and 'Gay Times'.
