Shepperton railway station is a train station in the Spelthorne district of Surrey, England. The station and all trains serving it are operated by South West Trains. The station itself consists of a single platform and a large station and office building. The ticket office is in operation infrequently.
History
The Shepperton branch opened to passengers on 1 November 1864 and was electrified on 1 January 1916. The original terminus included cattle sidings and a turntable
Services
The typical off-peak service from the station is two trains per hour to London Waterloo via Kingston, Wimbledon and Clapham Junction. Trains also run via Twickenham and Richmond in the peak morning and evening periods.
