Red Hat Bugzilla

It doesn't work. Is it being replaced by something in Fedora, or is there a problem? Hmm. "FATAL: Sorry, too many clients already at globals.pl line 153." Not a good advert. Mr. Jones 20:18, 5 Dec 2004 (UTC)

Should there be something about KDE or GNOME?

Zisa

KDE and GNOME are desktop managers. They can be installed from the source disk of most linux distributions.

Where is RH's HQ located?

Red Hat moved from RTP a few years back. They are now located on the NCState campus. I removed the link to RTP and someone readded it; I don't know what the policy is for this as I don't want to just re-remove it again.

Sorry, I was just following the address from their own homepage.

question

I am not so sure I understand, technically, can I download Linux from RH for free, or that it is a must to pay for thier services? Thanks, Dorit 12:16, 26 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Red Hat offers Fedora, a personal use operating system that is free to download. Red Hat Enterprise Linux is a non-free linux intended for commercial use that includes some comercial software and is supported by Red hat.

Thank you very much for the information, and sorry for my lack of knowledge. Dorit 21:26, 14 Jun 2005 (UTC)
Fedora Core and Red Hat Enterprise Linux are their official offerings, but there is also CentOS, which is independent of Red Hat but very interoperable. Nixdorf 21:34, 2005 Jun 14 (UTC)
Thank you, it is helpful. Dorit 21:20, 15 Jun 2005 (UTC)
