Hetwan

The Hetwan are a race of alien creatures from the K.A. Applegate series Everworld. The Hetwan are described as resembling insects, but with peculiar features. Their bodies consist of two arms, a pair of wings, fly-like eyes, and three constantly moving claws near their mouths. The claws move with a shoveling motion which continues at a slower pace after death.

Little is known about the Hetwans' life before Everworld, but it is known that they were brought from their own world by their dread-god, Ka Anor. They then began to conquer everything they came across, while collecting gods for their deity to consume. They have a city in Everworld, and their own little section designed after their world, as well as many strange creatures that are assumed to have been brought over from the Hetwans' native world.
