Ira Gamerman is an American Playwright, musician, actor, and journalist from Baltimore, MD. His plays have received readings and productions in Maryland, DC, Illinois, Alaska, Nebraska, Ohio, and California at such prestigious venues as The Last Frontier Theatre Conference, The Kennedy Center, The Great Plains Theatre Conference, The DC Source Festival, and The Steppenwolf Garage Theatre[1].

His plays have recieved positive reviews from The Chicago Sun Times[2], The Baltimore Sun [3], Timeout Chicago[4][5], City Paper[6], and Broadwayworld.com [7]

Ira was voted "Best Playwright" in City Paper's 2006 Best Of Baltimore Awards [8] and noted as one of "15 Young Baltimore Theatre Artists to Watch" by Broadwayworld.com [9].
