This image is iconic. No meaningful discussion about the subject can be had without reference to the image. The image was/is extremly widespread with over 2 million posters being distributed (see article for ref).
So to be clear the rationale:

- 2. The image is iconic
- 3. The image has widespread use
- 4. No meaningful discussion about the subject can be had without reference to the image
- 5. The use of this image does not limit or impinge on the images commercial use: namely sale as a full size poster.

This is ridiculous.
