2008 New Mexico Congressional Election race for New Mexico's 3rd congressional district in the United States House of Representatives.
There are ten candidates running for the position to replace current Congressman Tom Udall.[citation needed] Udall is giving up the house seat to run for the U.S. Senate seat that currently is held by Pete Domenici.
The primaries will be held June 3, 2008, and election day is on November 4, 2008.

A poll was taken with the three most popular candidates in the four most populated counties in district 3. The poll included Rio Arriba, Santa Fe, Taos, and San Juan Counties. All four polls showed Ben R. Lujan as the front runner.[citation needed]
