Richmond Shepard

Richmond Shepard is an American writer, director, producer and mime. He has been involved in theater and film for over 50 years. He built, owned and operated his own theaters in Los Angles on Theatre Row where he produced over 30 shows. He moved to New York and worked as a theatre and film critic for WNEW-AM [1], conceived and directed the off-Broadway show Noo Yawk Tawk at The Village Gate for three years.

He has traveled across the world performing with mime troupes and is currently performing with another improvisational comedy group in various clubs around NYC. His new off-Broadway theater, The Richmond Shepard Theater is located on the east side of Manhattan.

He is the father of Vonda Shepard.
