Harkirat Singh (general)

Major General (retd.) Harkirat Singh is of Sikh origin who is an ex-officer of the Indian Army. Maj Gen Harkirat Singh is notable as the first commander of the IPKF during its deployment in Sri Lanka in 1987.[1]
