Peter Nordbeck (silversmith)

Peter Nordbeck, silversmith; born Germany 1789, working in the West Indies circa 1815, moved to Halifax, Nova Scotia 1819, location 40 Duke Street. An important citizen and merchant, he is considered to be the best local silversmith of his day. Died 1861 and buried in Camp Hill Cemetery.
