Paul Depodesta (born 1972) is the current general manager of the Los Angeles Dodgers.

He was part of the Oakland Athletics organazation untill 2003, where he was an assistant to general manager Billy Beane where he learned the moneyball philosophy. He was then named general manager of the Los Angeles Dodgers where he has been highly controversial. He traded popular catcher Paul Lo Duca in a failed attempt to pick up trade pieces to aqquire Randy Johnson, while also getting rid of Guillermo Mota the Dodgers extremly effective setup man to closer Eric Gagne, let Adrian Beltre walk in the 2004 offseason after hitting 48 home runs and carrying the Dodgers to their first playoff birth since 1996, signed often injured outfielder JD Drew to a 5 year 55 million dollar contract, and inconsistent Red Sox hero Derek Lowe to a 4 year 36 million dollar contract.
