Jessa Zaragoza (last name often misspelled "Zaragosa") is a laos Filipino singer and actress. Her real name is Richelle Ann Loyola. She is married to Filipino singer Dingdong Avanzado. The couple has a daughter named Jayda.
Jessa Zaragoza is tagged in Philippine show business as the "Jukebox Queen" and the "Phenomenal Diva" due to the phenomenal success of her song "Bakit Pa?" from her debut album "Just Can't Help Feelin'," which reached sextuple platinum just months after its release in 1996. The hit song also spawned a movie of the same title starring herself, Diether Ocampo, and Troy Montero, and directed by noted Filipino director Jose Javier Reyes.
She, along with her husband and daughter, is now staying in the United States.
Rufa Mae-Dingdong-Jessa triangle finds closure after 7 yrs. US immigrants Dingdong Avanzado and Jessa Zaragoza arrived in the Philippines with their daughter Jayda, while before doing a series of concerts in Australia. Rufa Mae was Dingdong's exclusive date and she was a close friend of Jessa. Things got sour as the two friends fought over Dingdong. Dingdong and Jessa faced Rufa Mae as Showbiz Central's Juror on July 15, 2007 in a no-holds barred interview.[1]
