Kingdonia uniflora is a species of perennial herbs native to China. The plants have one leaf and a short (0.1 m) flower stalk with a small (8 mm) flower.[1]

It grows at high elevations in West and North China.[1]

Classification

Kingdonia is classified either as the only genus in the family Kingdoniaceae[2] or as a member of the buttercup family Ranunculaceae.[1] In either case it is in the order Ranunculales.
