Hello to all Wikipedians. My name is Nick Faitos, and I live in the surf-and-resort-and-university town of Santa Cruz, California. I am relatively new to this site and have done little editing yet, but I had been perusing Wikipedia articles for some time before and I have quickly begun to find this encyclopedia as a primary source of information. And it is reliable because of the enormous amount of attention and care that millions of people give it every day. The staggering number of articles and the information added to them each day--each hour--and the collaborative atmosphere that prevails makes Wikipedia almost a distraction. It's that addictive! So far my editing interests revolve around world and American history, media, culture, world and US literature and the arts in general. Maybe our paths will cross in the future and we'll get acquainted.
