Seven Pounds is an upcoming 2008 drama film starring Will Smith. It will reunite him with The Pursuit of Happyness director Gabriele Muccino.
Plot
Academy Award nominee Will Smith stars in the emotional story of a man named Ben who will change the lives of seven strangers. Will Smith portrays an IRS agent who is distraught with guilt from the mistakes of his past. As a solution, he plans to commit suicide, but also decides to help seven struggling individuals. When he meets Emily (Rosario Dawson), a woman with a heart condition, he falls in love with her, thereby complicating his original plans of suicide.
