opinion requested

One of the people following me around is Seattlehawk94. In the Shell Oil Company article, Mr. 94 has never edited it before I did.

He keeps changing a section to the section title of "Controversy and Criticism".

This is biased, in my opinion. Controversy and criticism should be a large issue involving a company. Surely nearly a century of existance, the largest and most notable controversy is not a dispute of a station owner with the price he is charged for fuel (zone pricing)!

To improve the article, I named the section something like "Station owner controversy and criticism". That is a more fair summary and establishes the extent of notability, i.e. a station dispute.

A. Is following someone you don't like and changing edits appropriate? B. Is my explanation about "station owner controversy" reasonable? (that the use of that example as the only controversy in the history of the company is either a biased example or given undue weight to a minor aspect -- which could be fixed by either deletion OR retitling the section -- you see, I don't advocate just deletion, I provide an alternative) Presumptive (talk) 02:36, 25 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Uh....You really need to chill out dude about people fixing edits or don't edit period, it happens all the time. I'm used to it myself. I follow you around because you've vandalized pages or posted inacurate facts about pages I've been working on for awhile i.e. "Butte, Montana" my hometown. You posted a few inacuracies on that page and I've had to revert simply because they either aren't true or the person you tried to list as a Butteian isn't even FROM Butte and certainly isn't known there. That person wasn't even worthy of a page on Wiki so how exactly is a person not from Butte, and not notable deserving of being listed as "adopted" by Butte? I didn't hear about it? And in that town if you don't know what your neighbors ate for dinner you are out of the loop.

So yeah, I've followed you around. Because alot of what you post is controversy and usually could be called vandalism. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Seattlehawk94 (talkcontribs) 12:39, 25 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This message is for Sticky, not 94. I think 94 may be mad because I'm accused of adding someone that is not from Butte. I never did such a thing. I merely highlighted the fact that someone else did it. That's like accusing the TV reporter of a murder of actually committing the murder. :o Presumptive (talk) 04:09, 26 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Uh, you've been editing that page with no knowledge of what you speak hence: "Butte has Montana's largest smokestack, per the visitors brochure"..Actually Anaconada which is 25 miles away contains the "tall stack" (as it's call in this area) and those are in two separate counties and census designations. Then you've gone and erased an edit listing areas were "nut rolls" are located and removed my add of "Butte", you can find those all over the city and it's a Christmas staple of the local diet.

You are the one accusing people of following you, yet...You are the on changing edits left and right of people who've corrected you then gone and whined about it to everyone on Wikipedia..Grow up dude, most of your edits reek or vandalism or "I made a page!". Sorry but yeah, there are other people than myself watching you closely. Because your reverts have started edit wars left and right. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Seattlehawk94 (talkcontribs) 04:29, 26 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

David Beckham

You seem to have fallen for a rather obvious hoax here. This is clearly a joke by Giles Smith, not a real news story. (Unless you really think "The final say will be with Romeo Beckham. If he says "Goo", it's Real Madrid. If he says "Gah", it's AC Milan. If he sicks up, it's Spurs." is genuine news...) – iridescent 21:57, 29 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Naming Conventions

Hey, thanks for your feedback on my IHSAA article. I have another question to ask. I am trying to make a page about Woody Wagenhorst, a former professional baseball player. What I'm not sure about is what to name the page, as his real name is Ellwood Otto Wagenhorst. I am not sure what the naming conventions are, but should the main page be called Woody Wagenhorst, which is the name by which he is almost always referred and linked, with a redirect from Ellwood Otto Wagenhorst, or vice versa? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Bradenkeith (talkcontribs) 15:59, 30 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
