This is an old revision of this page, as edited by 71.228.105.93 (talk) at 05:08, 7 July 2008 (No easier to say, but easier to send: new section). The present address (URL) is a permanent link to this revision, which may differ significantly from the current revision.

TTFN is also the thing that Tigger (from Winnie The Pooh) uses whenever he says goodbye, and spins off on his tail.

Also in the movie Witchboard

In the very 80's horror movie Witchboard ([1]), there's also a freaky, young, female psychic using this initialism. In an ironic and self-centered way.

No easier to say, but easier to send

While TTFN may be no easier to speak than Ta Ta For Now, it is much easier to type, and therefore more useful in e-mail, SMS, or other electronic transmission, e.g. Morse code.
