Our Long Road Home is the forthcoming studio album by alternative metal band Taproot being released on September 16, 2008. The album is Taproot's first independent release[1], and will be released through Velvet Hammer, the label founded by the management company of the same name who has worked with bands such as System Of A Down, Deftones, Alice In Chains[2].

The album will contain 12 tracks and was recorded in a barn that was converted into a recording studio near the home of Taproot's vocalist, Stephen Richards[2].

The album was originally scheduled for release on August 5, 2008, but was pushed back due to mixing problems and the addition of two "heavier" songs[3].
