Jonathan Rowan (born 29 November, 1981 in Grimsby) is an English footballer. Rowan, who is a striker played in the football league for Grimsby Town between 2000 and 2004. Rowan was given his chance in the team by Lennie Lawrence and formed a forward partnership with Phil Jevons. Rowan also played in the clubs 2-1 cup victory over Liverpool that season. Following injury problems, he was released in 2004 where he made a move too Kidderminster Harriers for a brief spell and then moving into Non-League football. Rowan had a brief spell with Kettering Town before he signed for Gainsborough Trinity. He returned after a month and continued playing for a short while before leaving to join Boston Town. He was then transfered to neighbours Boston United in the summer of 2007.
