Plymouth Rock Studios is a proposed film and television production studio in Massachusetts.[1] The studio has purchased Waverly Oaks Golf Club in Plymouth as the site[2] for the $422 million, 1.26 million-square-foot development slated to be complete in 2010. The development, headed by David Kirkpatrick, former President of Production at Paramount Pictures and Earl Lestz, former President of Paramount's Studio Group, will include fourteen sound stages, back lots, a multipurpose theater, a hotel and offices.[3]

The project is an effort to provide infrastructure to support the influx of movie projects to Massachusetts since the 2007 expansion of the state's film tax credit by Governor Deval Patrick.[4]
