Biography

Stuart Ditchek (b. 1961) is an American author and board-certified Pediatrician, best known as one of the authors of the book on integrative pediatrics, Healthy Child, Whole Child: Integrating the Best of Conventional and Alternative Medicine to Keep Your Kids Healthy (HarperCollins 2001). Dr. Ditchek runs a website where he provides information on integrative pediatrics. Ditchek acts as medical director of Chai Lifeline, a not-for-profit organization that offers support services and summer camp for sick children.

He is also the leader of the Zachary Baumel campaign, seeking information on one of the three Israeli soldiers missing since the Battle of Sultan Yacoub in Lebanon in 1982.
