Kuma: War is a first-person shooter created by Kuma Reality Games and the Department of Defense and released in 2004, mainly for propaganda purposes. Among the included missions is the assassination of the two sons of Saddam Hussein, Udai and Kussei, which is presented as furthering the War on Terror. The missions are presented in a way resembling a cable television news broadcast. Like other games sponsored by the US military, such as America's Army, Full Spectrum Warrior and SOCOM II: U.S. Navy SEALs, the developers claim that the game was made with special attention to realism so that the game's content is taken as a serious and accurate representation of war. New missions for the game - produced regularly and based on current real-world military conflicts - can be downloaded for US$10.
