Motor Cycling was one of the first UK motorcycle magazines. Launched in 1903, its green cover led to it being called "The Green 'un" to distinguish it form its rival publication The Motor Cycle but the cover eventaully became multi-coloured.[1] Selling for eightpence in the 1950's, many issues had the strapline "Circluated throughout the World".

Features

Noted for detailed road tests of classic motorcycles and articles on readers bikes, the magazine had regular features, including "Current Chat" and Letters to the Editor where many of the key issues of the golden age of British motorcycling were debated.
