Lauren Pronger is the wife of hockey star Chris Pronger. She is most notable for being the reason her husband demanded a trade from the Edmonton Oilers after the team had been a week removed from reaching the Stanley Cup finals. She has been referred to as the Yoko Ono of the hockey world; similarities have also been drawn to Oilers legend Wayne Gretzky's wife Janet Jones, who had a role in Gretzky's infamous trade from the Oilers to the Los Angeles Kings.
