Márcio Miranda Freitas Rocha da Silva or simply Marcinho (born March 20, 1981 in Campinas), is a Brazilian attacking midfielder. He currently plays for Kashima Antlers, loaned by Cruzeiro until December 2008.

Made one and only appearance for Brazil in 3-0 win in a friendly game against Guatemala in São Paulo on 27th April 2005. [1]

St.Étienne had reached a deal to acquire midfielder Marcinho from Brazil's Cruzeiro. Terms of the transfer were not immediately released, but local media said the French club would pay €4.5m for the 26-year-old Brazilian. Marcinho previously played for Corinthians, Palmeiras, Paulista and São Caetano. The deal though did not go through because Marcinho failed a physical.

Marcinho was loaned to Kashima Antlers on June 24th. He'll play for the Japanese squad until the end of 2008.
